ALL NEW BILLY BOWLEGS TREASURE HUNT 2009
Visit “Official Merchant Clue Locations” to receive pieces of the Bowlegs word puzzle, and qualify to win a cash prize of $1000!
Here’s how:
- Visit www.BillyBowlegsPirateFestival.com, beginning May 19th, for clues to Official Merchant Clue Locations. Clues will be released on the website at 10am on May 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th, and will be published in the Northwest Florida Daily News.
- Each day’s clue will direct to you a different Merchant Clue Location, where you can obtain an official game piece containing part of the Treasure Hunt Word Puzzle. You will also need an official game board/entry form, available at Merchant Clue Locations or at the Chamber office (34 Miracle Strip Parkway)
- Visit each Merchant Clue Location, any time between their clue reveal date and 1:00am on Saturday, June 6th, to receive the official game piece offered there. (One game piece per family, per Merchant Clue Location, please)
- Collect all eight game pieces to complete the puzzle.
- Firmly affix (with glue, tape, etc) all eight game pieces in the proper order to reveal the Bowlegs Treasure Hunt Word Puzzle.
- Deliver your completed entry form (all eight puzzle pieces properly arranged and firmly affixed, and all required contact information completed) to the FWB Chamber office (34 Miracle Strip Parkway) before 3pm on Friday, June 5th, or at the FWB Chamber Booty Store at the Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival on Friday, June 5th (3 – 10pm) or before noon on Saturday, June 6th to be eligible.
- One entry per household, please!
- The winner will be determined by random drawing from among all eligible entries received by NOON on Saturday, June 6th. Drawing will be held at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th, following the landing of Capt’n Billy Bowlegs and his Krewe at Fort Walton Landing. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes incurred and must to come into the Chamber office on the 1st business day following the drawing to complete required paperwork and collect their prize!
