The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce organizes, sponsors and presents several community-wide events throughout the year. Please browse the links below for more information about each of them. They are listed in rough chronological order as they occur throughout the year.

Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | Fort Walton Beach, FLWinter Guest Fest (formerly the Senior Snowbird Expo), presented by ResortQuest – scheduled for Friday, January 16, 2015

  • An annual trade show geared toward our winter visitors. About 2,000 attend each year and leave with a bagful of coupons, gifts, and giveaways. A must-attend event for snowbirds, and an unbeatable opportunity for exhibitors to reach this valuable market.

Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | Fort Walton Beach, FLMardi Gras on the Island – a New Orleans-style Mardi Gras parade on Okaloosa Island. Sponsored by Abita Brewing Company, this parade is the first Mardi Gras parade on the Gulf Coast!  Local clubs and businesses sponsor floats and walkers – parade goers add to their festive collections of beads.   The 2015 Mardi Gras parade will be on January 17, 2015. 

Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | Fort Walton Beach, FLMulti-Chamber Business Expo & Taste of Okaloosa County – the area’s largest annual trade show presented by the county’s four chambers of commerce. Visit business booths for the latest developments, and sample items from some of the area’s finest restaurants. A fabulous opportunity to showcase your business to movers and shakers in Okaloosa County.   March 20, 2014    

Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | Fort Walton Beach, FLMusical Echoes – Native American Flute, Art and Cultural Festival. The nation’s premier Native American flute festival is a mecca for flute aficionados and a fascinating event for those interested in Native American culture. After eleven years, the festival continues to improve each year. 2014 dates: April 25 through 27.

Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | Fort Walton Beach, FLBilly Bowlegs Pirate Festival – Probably the best Pirate festival in the world! This long-running Fort Walton Beach tradition is in its 60th year, and brings a full weekend of nautical fun to the Landing. Watch Capt. Billy and his Krewe invade the city, while the FWB mayor works hard to protect his fair city and citizens. There’s entertainment, grog and grub aplenty for sailors and landlubbers alike. This is the Chamber’s signature event, and is always held the first weekend in June. (Up to 20,000 visitors over the course of two days.) 2015 dates:  Festival,  Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6.  By popular request, the Torchlight Parade has been moved back to Monday evening - so it will be on Monday, June 8. 


Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | Fort Walton Beach, FLDog Daze – a day of family fun for dogs and the families that love them. Over 1,000 dogs and their families gather at the FWB Landing for a day full of doggy festivities. There’ll be canine-centered arts and crafts and informational booths, lots of freebies and giveaways, a doggy parade, wiener races, and more. 2014 date: Saturday, October 11, 2014.  New Venue:  Liza Jackson Park, 318 Miracle Strip Parkway (Highway 98), in Fort Walton Beach.
