    UPDATE: the Community Perspectives Committee Meeting has been moved up to Monday, September 9th from 8:00am to 9:00am in the FWB Chamber conference room. We changed the day in order to have the committee meeting BEFORE the City of FWB Council meeting on the 10th. Thanks and I hope to see you all on Monday at 8:00am.
     
    There’s been a lot of talk about the upcoming City of Fort Walton Beach Fire Services Assessment Fee (pending final City Council approval), and that’s going to be the subject matter for our September Community Perspectives Committee meeting. FWB City Manager Michael Beedie will join us and share his perspective regarding the fee and why he feels an investment in public safety is an important strategic goal for the city.

    The meeting is open to the public, so please make plans to join us on Monday, September 9th from 8:00am to 9:00am in the conference room at your Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce.
