    The Role of Doodlebuggers Inside Sales Agent:

    We are seeking an individual with a fighting warrior spirit who is willing to work hard and will do whatever it takes to make a client happy. The scope of work includes presenting and selling products, interacting with clients in person or via phone/email, and seeing a project through to completion.

    Hours:

    40 hours, Monday – Friday & Saturday w/ 1 weekday off, start and end time flexible

    Base pay plus commission after earning Hearth Certification

     

    Job Description:

    Doodlebuggers is looking for an inside sales agent who has sales experience, is innovative, and is personable. Ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients daily in the showroom or via email/phone. You will also provide quotes to clients based on the client’s needs and wants, present in the showroom if time allows or send it via email and follow up with client if deal does not close on the spot.

     

    Job Duties:

    • Greets and interacts with customers
    • Consults with customers and answer questions about merchandise to help clients understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise and selecting their products
    • Assists customers with purchase decisions
    • Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations as needed
    • Collects payment using the point of sale system as needed
    • Creating quotes
    • Following up with clients that you have created quotes for that have not closed yet
    • Scheduling services or sales appointments as needed
    • Working Trade shows as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Skill Requirements for Position:

    • Ability to learn a new industry and acquire National Certifications paid for by Doodlebuggers.
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
    • Excellent active listening skills
    • Excellent sales and customer service skills
    • Passion for relationship building and selling
    • Confident, friendly, and outgoing personality
    • Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold. This will be learned but need to have the skill of being willing to learn and retain information
    • Ability to anticipate/determine customer’s needs
    • Ability to recommend merchandise to customers
    • Organization is an absolute must
    • Experience in sales &/or construction industry is a plus
    • Ability to Multi-task
    • Great attitude in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to Adapt to change (company is rapidly growing)
    • Problem-Solving skills
