Healthcare Committee

The Mission of the Healthcare Committee of the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce is to increase educational opportunities and foster awareness of the healthcare resources in our community.

Military Affairs Commitee
Established in January 1978, the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee (MAC) is composed of 60+ Chamber members who extend their friendship, support, and expertise to strengthen the relationship between active duty military members, their missions, and the community.
MAC members pay annual dues over and above their regular Chamber membership dues. MAC Member dues support the monthly meeting catering costs along with the MAC’s many activities which include participation in the quarterly and annual outstanding Airmen awards at Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field, Wing Level Picnics at Eglin and Hurlburt Field, and numerous requests made for funding support by various military and supporting organizations.
The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee has developed a well-earned outstanding reputation in the local Military Community as one of the leading military personnel support organizations within a chamber of commerce.

Emerging Entrepreneurs Group
The first five years of owning a business are both exhilarating and demanding. The encouraging aspect is that many of the challenges faced during this period are similar across various industries. This committee aims to unite entrepreneurs, educate them on how to support one another, and ultimately foster a community that thrives together.
Objectives:Discuss everyday struggles seen in the first 5 years and strategies to be prepared Develop a resilient network of entrepreneurs, your tribe, to remain connected in a long-term mastermind, continually driving each other's growth and success for years to come Encourage maximizing the use of the considerable network the Chamber and Community Resources offerEligibility:The inaugural cohort will be a team of 12-15 business owners. To qualify, you must:1. Be in good active standing with the Chamber2. Ability to commit an hour and a half of time IN PERSON for each meeting (meeting times attached)3. Willingness/Ability to sign a confidentiality statement (on behalf of your company) to assure that the information shared by the participant and by other participants remains confidential4. Be in business for less than 3 years
