  • The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce organizes, sponsors and presents several community-wide events throughout the year. Please browse the links below for more information about each of them. They are listed in rough chronological order as they occur throughout the year.

There’s lots more going on in this little corner of the world, though – check the Chamber calendar for more opportunities for fun, networking, and entertainment.

  • Winter Guest Fest, presented by ResortQuest – scheduled for Thursday, January 17, 2019.
An annual trade show geared toward our winter visitors. About 2,000 attend each year and leave with a bagful of coupons, gifts, and giveaways. A must-attend event for snowbirds, and an unbeatable opportunity for exhibitors to reach this valuable market.

  • Taste & Business Showcase – the area’s largest annual trade show presented by the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Destin Chamber of Commerce.  Visit business booths for the latest developments, and sample items from some of the area’s finest restaurants. A fabulous opportunity to showcase your business to movers and shakers in Okaloosa County.  Contact Rachelle Graves at 850-244-8191. 2019 Date:  March 28, 2019, at the Emerald Coast Convention Center.  This event is FREE and open to the public.

  • Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival – Probably the best Pirate festival in the world! This long-running Fort Walton Beach tradition is in its 64th year, and brings a full weekend of nautical fun to the Landing. Watch Capt. Billy and his Krewe invade the city, while the FWB mayor works hard to protect his fair city and citizens. There’s entertainment, grog and grub aplenty for sailors and landlubbers alike. This is the Chamber’s signature event, and is always held the first weekend in June. (Up to 20,000 visitors over the course of two days.) 2019 dates:  Festival, Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 - Parade, Monday, June 3.

  • Dog Daze – a day of family fun for dogs and the families that love them. Over 1,000 dogs and their families gather at Liza Jackson Park for a day full of doggy festivities. There’ll be canine-centered arts and crafts and informational booths, lots of freebies and giveaways, a doggy parade, wiener races, and more. This event is tentatively scheduled for the middle of October, 2019.

  • Contact the Chamber (850.244.8191) for sponsorship, vendor and volunteer opportunities for any of these events.
