2nd Annual Plein Air Paint-Out

The 2^nd Annual Plein Air Paint-Out sponsored by the Oil Painters of America

& The Emerald Coast Plein Air Painters, will be held Saturday, Nov 2, 8:30 am to 11:30 am, at Grayton Beach State Park, 357 Main Park Road, in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. www.floridastateparks.org/graytonbeach

Everyone is invited to bring their art materials of choice, whether it be oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, pencil, graphite, etc. and enjoy a morning of creating images of pristine beaches, lakes, gulf coast dunes, and wildlife.

            After checking in at the park, requiring a $4.00 entrance fee, meet at the pavilion by the restrooms to sign in. Gather there again at 11:30 to share images with fellow artists.

Lunch follows at a nearby restaurant.

            In addition to your art materials, bring sunscreen, water, insect repellent, and a hat.

            Oil Painters of America (OPA) is a not-for-profit organization representing more than 4,000 artists. Its primary focus is to draw attention to the lasting value of fine drawing, color, composition, and the appreciation of light. Emerald Coast Plein Air Painters meets every Wednesday morning to paint outdoors in our area.
