First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach will present the 32nd Live Nativity celebration from Monday, December 14th through Saturday, the 20th. Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will be a drive-thru! The entrance to the nativity field is at the corner of 2nd St and Church Ave, right by the First Baptist Church sanctuary. The exit from the nativity field is on Shell Ave. The shepherd’s field will be filled with sheep and donkeys. The Wise Men will tend to Naomi the camel. The animals look forward to seeing visitors from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. If you wish to pet the animals through the fence enclosing the nativity field there will be a walk-thru lane. Feed for the animals will not be provided, however, shepherds will keep feed troughs filled to ensure the sheep and donkeys are close to the fence line. This celebration of the birth of Jesus is a free event that includes Angels, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, and the three Magi. To illustrate the complete salvation story from Jesus’ miraculous birth to his crucifixion and resurrection we include Roman Soldiers at the Cross and Angels at the Empty Tomb.
