This is an annual SOCKS event geared to reduce the number of cats and kittens in the shelter by finding them new and loving homes to allow more to be saved/brought into the shelter. The adoption fees are drastically reduced and the Thrift Store, which is located behind the shelter, will have a 1/2 off sale of most everything in the store in support of the shelter. SOCKS has been in operation for over 20 years; it is a free roaming no-kill non-profit cat shelter and adoption center. SOCKS' mission is to help cats and kittens in the community by providing a no-kill, clean, healthy homelike environment while waiting for a forever home.
