The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park & Cultural Center presents the 5th Annual Haunted History Tours based on authentic local history, folk stories and spooky downtown historic sites. The tours will be held on Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th. Four tours will be conducted each night at 6:30 PM, 7:15 PM, and 8:00 PM, and 8:45 PM.
Tours are limited to 30 people each and early sign-up and ticket purchase is encouraged. Pre-sale tickets are available during regular museum hours at the Indian Temple Mound Museum at a cost of $10.00 per adult and $7.00 per child (children must be accompanied by an adult) starting on September 4th. On tour nights, tickets can be purchased starting at 6:00 p.m. outside the entrance to the Indian Temple Mound Museum where tours will begin. Tickets can be purchased by cash only.
The program offers a guided twilight walking tour of over ten historic sites in the downtown area and features costumed actors interpreting local history and haunted happenings. Several new acts have been added this year! All tour participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time for each tour. Tours end with spooky refreshments inside the Camp Walton Schoolhouse Museum. Heritage Park & Cultural Center is located at 139 Miracle Strip Parkway SE.
