This year, our 7TH Annual INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL Fort Walton Beach is “The March Event” as part of Okaloosa County’s commemoration and celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! The primary purpose of our festival is to bring the entire community together in UNITY, regardless of ethnicity, race, or creed, to enjoy a high quality, family-friendly event. The event is free and open to the public. Our Emerald Coast is an international region and our festival has become a signature event in this area. Each year, more than 60 nations are represented via the entertainment, food, product, and/or service vendors. This year, part of the proceeds, but not less than $1,000.00, will be donated to United for a Good Cause Inc. (U4aGC). U4aGC is a 501c3, tax exempt charity organization with a mission to “promote the Spirit of Service, Giving, and Unity among the region’s youth.” Go here for more information on U4aGC: https://unitedforagoodcause.org/ Our festival was created to welcome the spring and kick-off the season of community-wide events in our region and participants and the general public come from as far as Tallahassee, Panama City, and the states of Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama! We are blessed to live in a great community composed of civilians and military individuals with backgrounds from all over the world and many born outside the United States. Many in our community have traveled or lived in other countries, for those who have not, our event “brings the world to them!” See attachment 1 for Sponsorship details.
