Mr. James Mathews will give a free archeology talk at the Indian Temple Mound Museum. Mr. Mathews grew up in Central Louisiana and received his Master of Arts in Social Sciences, Northwestern Louisiana University 1980. He moved to the local area in 1985 and has worked mostly in Northwest Florida and the Southeastern US as a historic archaeologist. He performs historic and prehistoric artifact analysis, performs archival research and has served as past chairman of Friends of the Museums. He is currently a member of the Emerald Coast Archaeological Society.
