Bring your family and kick off the Mardi Gras season with the first parade on the Gulf Coast – the Abita Mardi Gras Parade on Okaloosa Island.  That’s Saturday, January 16, at 1 pm.   The parade will begin at the western end of Santa Rosa Blvd., heading eastward toward Brooks Bridge.  Half the road will be blocked along the parade route, but traffic will still be free to travel both ways on the southern lanes of the street.

The parade will start at 1 pm.  Parking will be available at The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island, and there will be shuttle service from The Boardwalk to Bluefish, the perfect location along the parade route.
