Brenda Stokes, potter and owner, with husband Marty and son, Jason, of Holley Hill Pottery & Art Studio, will be the featured speaker at the Arts & Design Society's March Luncheon on Wednesday, March 28. Stokes and her family built their first kiln, which is still operative, in 1980. Stokes is also active in the Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society, which promotes and preserves traditional wood-fired pottery techniques.
Stokes will present her talk at the Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street, Fort Walton Beach. The Luncheon, which is open to the public, will begin at 11:30. Cost of the luncheon is $12.
