ADSO's January Luncheon: Thalia & Friends Do Seaglass!

Thalia Newton, Teddie Ciudad-Real, and Joan Bomar will be the speakers at the Arts and Design Society’s January Luncheon on Wednesday, January 27.

Newton will focus on giving older furniture a new look, showing and explaining interesting finishes for furniture, using decoupage, mosaics, and sea glass.

Ciudad-Real uses sea glass, driftwood and wire-wrapping glass to fashion mobiles.

Bomar, a Master Gardener, will turn her naturalist talent toward fashioning a mirror and seashell creation. The group will later offer a workshop in these areas; more information will be available at the luncheon.

Thalia and Friends will give their talk at the Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street, Fort Walton Beach. The Luncheon, which is open to the public, will begin at 11:30. Cost of the luncheon is $12. Reservations must be made no later than Monday, January 25; cost of luncheons for reservations after that date is $15.
