To showcase the work of local artists, the Arts and Design Society presents month-long exhibits in their studio windows, facing First Street, Fort Walton Beach. In May, the works on display for easy viewing are those of Art Orr, who will display oil and acrylic paintings, colored pencil drawings, and birdhouse sculptures, the latter including mixed media involving wood, sand, and oil paint.
Additional information about these works is available in the Art Center office. While the window art is available for viewing 24/7, office and gallery hours are 12 noon-4 pm, Tuesday-Friday, and the gallery, which is free to the public, is open also from 1 pm-4 pm, Saturday.
