    Silk Scarf & Watercolor Batik Workshop with Sue Tarkin, Friday, May 8 (Sign-up Deadline April 28)

    ADSO artist Sue Tarkin is offering a Silk Scarf and Watercolor Batik Workshop on Friday, May 8, from 10 am-4 pm at the Arts & Design Society Art Center. Cost is $55 members; $65 non-members, plus a supply fee of $15. Deadline to sign up for class is Tuesday, April 28.

    Students will design a silk scarf using markers and/or wax and will paint a watercolor batik butterfly on rice paper, using the Kathie George method. A list of additional supplies the students should bring is available on the website or at the ADSO Office.
