ADSO Luncheon: Wednesday, July 27,2022
Renee Broxson, artist, tennis teaching professional and animal rescue supporter, is the speaker for the Arts and Design Society Luncheon on Wednesday, July 27. Introduced to art at an early age by her artist mother, Broxson’s love of art quickly developed, but she did not immediately take up painting. In 2018, she completed the Creative Visionary Program at Art2Life and has never looked back. She uses a variety of materials to add texture and interest to art influenced by childhood memories and everyday experiences.
Broxon's goal is two-fold: to continue developing her artistic skill and capture interest in her art from collectors so that she can donate a large portion of her proceeds to animal rescue efforts in Northwest Florida. She serves on the Board of Directors of Dog-Harmony, Inc., in Santa Rosa Beach.
Luncheon will be by reservation only, since box lunches will be served. Reservation deadline is 11 a.m., FRIDAY, July22. Note that reservations must be called or emailed by 11 a.m. When making a reservation, it will be necessary to indicate your choice of sandwich: Cheese (American & Swiss); Ham & Swiss Cheese; Turkey & Swiss Cheese; Roast Beef & Swiss Cheese; Veggie.
Broxson will be speaking at the Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street, Fort Walton Beach. The Luncheon will begin at 11:30. Cost of the luncheon is $12.
