The 4th Annual Dragon Boat Race & Festival promises to be the best yet at the new location - The newly renovated Fort Walton Beach Landing Park on the water in Downtown FWB. Thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Eglin Federal Credit Union, money raised from the event will support Bring Hope Now's mission of supporting 44 school CARE Crews and helping to build a Youth Residential Mental Health Care Center for Okaloosa & Walton Counties! The event kicks off with the Emerald Coast Okinawa Performers followed by the always fun and spirited TEAM PARADE at 8:45. Once the Dragon's Eye is dotted for good luck for all teams, the race will begin. There will be food vendors, merchandise vendors, a big auction, door prizes and excitement for all with the ongoing race heats. Bio Collections worldwide will be there with money to give away! They collect blood samples (only 2 to 3 small vials like a blood draw) for worldwide research for companies testing new medical equipment. They are looking for non-Hispanic Caucasians for this particular program. They will pay up to 100 people $50 each PLUS will donate another $50 to our non-profit on your behalf!! It's a WIN-WIN!!
