This webinar replaces our monthly in-person childbirth education class. This course is divided into two sections with the first hour having an overview of the childbirth basics and the birthing process at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. The webinar will answer questions regarding what to expect during the different stages of labor, equipment used and a review of options for pain relief. The second portion of the webinar will focus more on specific breathing and relaxation techniques to assist patients and their support person during labor. Comfort techniques for each stage of labor will be used to prepare the expectant mother and birth partner.
