Name: Chili's Gives Back for Military Spouse Appreciation Day
    Date: May 8, 2015
    Time: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM CDT
    Event Description:

In honor of Military Spouse Appreciation Day, Chili's in Fort Walton Beach will donate 10% of the event day sales back to the Air Force Enlisted Village when a special flyer is presented.

The Air Force Enlisted Village is a 4-Star Charity Navigator rated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides a home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted military members in Shalimar, FL near Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field. Since 1975, surviving military spouses have come to find a safe, secure home at either Bob Hope Village (our independent living community) or at Hawthorn House (our assisted living and memory care residence).

In 2000, under the leadership of AFEV's former president and CEO, CMSAF9 James C. Binnicker (USAF, Ret.) created a philosophy known as The Mom Rule to ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity. At Bob Hope Village and Hawthorn House, residents enjoy worry free living and camaraderie while sharing memories of military life.
