Community Perspectives Committee

Monthly meeting of the FWB Chamber's Community Perspectives Committee.  All Chamber members are invited to attend.  

The City of Fort Walton Beach has selected Robert Bage as its new Chief of Police.  He will be joining us for our Community Perspectives Meeting held on Thursday, March 14 at 8 am at the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. 

Bage comes to Fort Walton Beach from the North Miami Police Department where he spent the last 20 years, most recently as Assistant Chief.  He progressed through the ranks during his career in North Miami, working in all five units of the department, patrol, investigations, community policing, traffic and marine patrol.

"I am looking forward to leading the Fort Walton Beach Police Department and being a productive member of the community," said Bage.  "The people of the Fort Walton Beach community and the city staff are what motivated me to join this organization."  Bage added, "Two of my top priorities are to increase community engagement and improve the quality of life for everyone in Fort Walton Beach."  He officially began his new role in the community on March 11.
