Thalia Newton, former interior decorator, promoter of the arts, on-going art student, and artist of many talents, will share her flair and expertise in the exciting medium of crash glass mosaics, which incorporates broken tempered glass with unexpected found objects, resulting in a mosaic product that is both fun and beautiful. In class, January 28 and 30 (T/Th); February 4 and 7(T,F); 12 and 13 (W,Th); 18 and 20 (T,Th), from 10 am-2:00 pm (with hour-long lunch break), students will create crash glass mosaic art. Cost of the eight-session class for members is $140, Non-members $170, and a supply fee of $35.
