Destin Commons Expansion Grand Opening and Smoke on the Coast

Have a fun-filled day and evening celebrating Destin Commons’ expansion grand opening with 22 more stores and restaurants, the 4^th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ competition, kid’s activities and street performers. Enjoy continuous live bands performing on two stages, including THE MAXX, Heritage, Jones & Company, Coconut Radio and Chris Alvarado. Twenty area restaurants and BBQ aficionados will light up their grills to prepare their best dishes. Starting at 6 pm, for $1 per sampling, people get to vote for People’s Choice winners with proceeds benefitting military and local charities.  The evening concludes with an Independence Day firework extravaganza.  Beginning at 4 pm, free shuttle services will run from Destiny Worship Center and Mattie Kelly Arts Cultural Village/Grace Lutheran church parking areas during Festival hours.
