''Dollars for Dogs'' - Supporting the FWB Dog Park

In the Fall of 2012, the Fort Walton Beach City Council voted to approve the construction of a dog park at Liza Jackson Park, located at the western end of town, right on the Santa Rosa sound.

There were, however, conditions:  The money to construct and maintain the dog park must be raised by the community.  No public funds are to be used for this project.

The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce and Cumulus Broadcasting took the reins (or rather, the leash) and began the fundraising effort.

If we're going to cut the ribbon on this much-needed community addition by October 12, 2013 - Dog Daze 2013 - we need your help!

In recognition of your $1,000 donation, a bench will be named in honor of your pet, your family, or your cause of choice.  6” by 10” personalized plaque will commemorate your generosity.

A $250 donation will sponsor a 10-ft. run of the 6-ft tall fence surrounding the property.  A 6” by 10” personalized plaque will recognize your generosity.
