Program speaker: Robert J. Sniffen, Founder and managing partner of Sniffen and Spellman, P.A.
His practice encompasses all areas of Labor and Employment Law. He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Sniffen represents employers statewide in federal and state court and before administrative tribunals, and also provides advice to employers regarding personnel and workplace issues.
Mr. Sniffen has been active in the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Florida Bar and served as its Chair from 1999-2000. He is a member of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Sniffen has received an "AV-Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America publication in Labor and Employment Law. He has been named to Florida Trend Magazine's "Legal Elite" in the area of Labor and Emplyment Law. He has also been named on two occasions as one of the Top 100 lawyers in the State in all practice areas by Super Lawyers Magazine. Recently, the Best Lawyers publicatoin named Mr. Sniffen as Tallahassee Employment Defense Attorney of the Year and The Best Lawyers in America publication named him as the Tallahassee defense attorney of the year in Labor and Employment Litigation on several occasions.
Mr. Sniffen received his B.A. i political science from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law.
