Festival of Trees

You are invited to sponsor and decorate a Christmas tree at the Landing at the Chamber’s inaugural Festival of Trees, to be held on November 29 in conjunction with the City of Fort Walton Beach Tree Lighting festivities and the return of the Fort Walton Beach Christmas Boat Parade.

Promote your business - support your favorite non-profit - and kick off the holiday season by decorating an 8-ft live tree (sponsored by Sam’s Club).  You’ll receive a tree, a logoed sponsorship sign, and a spot (with electricity - you supply the lights you need) at the Landing.  You’re responsible for decorating the tree on the 29th.  Visitors to the event will vote - and bid on! - their favorites.  Decorated trees will be sold, via silent auction bids, and the funds will be donated to the non-profits chosen by the sponsors.  (Trees must be removed from the park that evening.)

Prizes will be awarded at the First Friday Coffee in December.  Categories:  Best in Show, Most Creative Use of a Flip Flop, and Best Representation of Your Business.  Participants are encouraged (but not required) to use this year’s theme colors of aqua, emerald green, and silver, and to incorporate the year’s symbol, a flip flop, into the design.
