Fisher House Holiday Boat Parade

Fisher House of the Emerald Coast presents their Holiday Boat Parade and Wonderland Extravaganza on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at North Light Yacht Club in Niceville. The parade will start at the marina at 6:00 pm and circle north around Boggy Bayou, finishing back up at North Light. Prime viewing for spectators will be all along the shores of Boggy Bayou – including parks, docks and street side parking, as well as restaurants and businesses along the route. Several restaurants will be offering specials and seating for great parade viewing that evening.

Motorboats and sailboats of any size are welcome and encouraged to participate and help share the spirit of the season. Awards will be presented in the following divisions: 30 feet and under, 31 feet and over and sailboat. There will also be a Best Overall and People’s Choice winner. Entry forms can be picked up at North Light Yacht Club or online at www.NorthLightMarina.com . A post-parade reception and awards ceremony for parade participants and sponsors will be held at North Light Yacht Club. Entry fee for the parade is $20.

Parade watchers will enjoy a Wonderland Extravaganza on the docks at North Light Marina with fun holiday activities for the whole family, including strolling carolers, choirs, face painting, clowns, cookie decorating, hot chocolate stations and more! A VIP reception is available for $10 per ticket and provides guests with a premier viewing area, delicious hot appetizers from area restaurants and beverages during the festivities and parade. All proceeds from the event go to benefit Fisher House of the Emerald Coast.
