The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is enforcing

2 new disclosure forms altering the closing process:

(1) the Loan Estimate replacing current Good Faith Estimate            

(2) the Closing Disclosure, replacing the Settlement Statement form.

In addition, the new rules will implement a three-day rule stating that consumers must receive a final Closing Disclosure three days before the closing date.
