    The Fort Walton Beach Christmas Boat Parade will be held on Thursday, December 5, at 5:30 pm -- judges' stand (and the best viewing location) will be at The Landing, 139 Brooks Street in downtown Fort Walton Beach.

    There will be no cost to enter.  Instead, all who enter, with a decorated boat, will receive a $50 Helen Back Gift Certificate and can attend the post parade party at Helen Back on the Island!

    (There will still be an application process, safety inspection, and skippers' meeting in advance.)

    Four categories of boats: 
    1. Sail up to 20 feet
    2. Sail over 20 feet
    3. Power up to 36 feet
    4. Power over 36 feet

    Boats will sail from west to east in the Sound; best visibility will be at the Landing in Fort Walton Beach.
