Hispanic Street Festival
Name: Hispanic Street FestivalDate: September 14, 2024Time: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM CDTEvent Description:Are you ready to dance in the streets in downtown Fort Walton Beach with live music, food and fun for the whole family on September 14th from 1PM-9PM. Don't forget to bring your chairs or blankets!Celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month as we transform the street into a lively dance party with local food trucks representing various cultures, live caribbean music and artesian vendors along with hand rolled Cuban cigars and perhaps a little domino action while you're listening to the best live bands in our region. Join the conga line and dance with us as we revel in our diverse Latino & Hispanic Culture through food and live music.
Our charity of choice this year is Children in Crisis
a non-profit 501(C)(3) charity was established to raise and manage funds to build, staff, and operate “The Children’s Neighborhood, a residential style foster care neighborhood. From a small grass-roots group of individuals, The Children’s Neighborhood was built and over the years has provided a loving, nurturing environment for over one thousand children removed for abuse, abandonment, and/or neglect.Call to action to help: They are in desperate need of more dental hygiene products, Food, and houseware from gently used furniture, kitchen supplies to bedding.
This year we will close Chestnut Ave, behind Publix, next to United Fidelity Bank.Event Schedule:
