With Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) nearly among us, Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is launching a community-based event called "Breast in Show." We are asking our healthcare and community partners to participate in creating a THEMED BRA that we can hold for auction in our clinic 'showroom' and on our live action platform. All of the proceeds from the purchases of these bras are going to be funneled back into the community (through a variety of healthcare partners) to pay for uninsured patients' mammograms. Mammograms are
the gold standard for early detection of breast cancer and are recommended annually for women after age 40.
