The Northwest Florida Ballet would like to invite all local chefs, bakers, and candy-makers to participate in a Bake-Off in commemoration of our premier performance of The Nutcracker. Entrants would create a confectionery masterpiece inspired by the ballet to present to guests at our Kingdom of Sweets Reception on the night of November 23. The guests will cast votes for the winning entries. The top three competitors will receive prize packages from Northwest Florida Ballet!
All interested parties should email Brenda Hutchison at
brenda@hutchoffices.com by November 14 to enter. An official headcount will be emailed out to all competitors on November 15. Entries should be brought to the art galleries at Mattie Kelly Arts Center at 4:30 on November 23 for set-up. The reception will be from 5:30-7:15, with the winners announced after.
