The League of Women Voters of Okaloosa & Walton Counties invites residents and visitors to its 20th Annual State of the County (SOTC) Report for Okaloosa County. The event will take place from 10:00 am to noon on Saturday, June 8th at the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce (34 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, FWB).
Each year this event provides an opportunity for county residents to meet with their elected officials, learn about how county business is being conducted, and ask questions about important issues. The 2019 SOTC panel features County Commission Chair Kelly Windes, School Board Vice Chair Tim Bryant and County Judge Angela Mason. They will each report on the activities of their respective offices and address the current "state of the county" from their perspectives.
The meeting is free and the public is welcome. For more info call Mary Blackwell at 850-621-4088, or RSVP to
