Legislative Delegation Public Hearing

Delegation members will hear public comments on proposals for the 2016 Legislative Session. They will also consider and vote on “local bills”, which is state legislation that only pertains to a municipality, taxing district, or school district within the county.   

“The purpose of the delegation meetings is to continue the ongoing opportunity for any citizen with recommendations for state legislation to present suggestions directly to Northwest Florida Legislators,” Gaetz said. “The best ideas to get rid of unnecessary or bad laws or to change laws for the better always come from the people who live with issues every day in their communities, schools and businesses.”
