Although Supervisor's are not lawyers, it is necessary to understand the basic requirements of these laws so that they can interact properly with employees and comply with the laws. Title VII, ADEA, ADA, USERRA, FMLA, PDA are some of the employment laws that you need to understand and recognize because they directly affect your job as a Supervisor.
