The Emerald Coast Rescue Mission of Fort Walton Beach is hosting a Benefit Concert featuring Christian recording artist Michael O'Brien at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center located at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida at 7:00 pm on October 30, 2014.
Michael O'Brien is well known for his 7-year tenure as lead singer with the Christian Band ''Newsong.'' As a solo artist, Michael has proved to be an incredibly gifted singer / songwriter, and the combination of these talents has placed him among the very best in Christian music today. With a powerful testimony, and an amazing heart and desire for ministering to the body of Chris, Michael O'Brien will stir your spirit and bless your soul.
This event is the third in a series that began back in 2012 to raise the necessary funds to renovate the Emerald Coast Rescue Mission facility on Hollywood Boulevard in Fort Walton Beach. The series is called ''Extreme Makeover: The Mission Edition'' and this year's theme is ''Rebuilding Lives.'' Our belief at the Emerald Coast Rescue Mission, is that the best way to help an individual begin rebuilding their life when they arrive at our facility is to introduce them to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and with that in mind, our goal with this Benefit Concert is to raise enough money to completely renovate our Mission chapel.
