Military Appreciation Night at Choctaw HS Joe Etheredge Stadium

Keep your eye on the skies Friday, Sept. 26, as the Special Forces Association Parachute Team barrels out of a plane and onto the football field at Choctawhatchee High School's Joe Etheredge stadium!

In an effort to show support for our family, friends and neighbors who serve in the Armed Forces, a Military Appreciation Night has been scheduled for the pre-game festivities at Choctaw High School. 

The event will be held this Friday, Sept. 26, and will include a patriotic theme throughout the evening.  Due to the event, gates will open early.  Please plan on being in the stadium by 6:15 pm.  All military members with an active duty military ID card will receive free admission.

Along with an Honor Guard representing all branches of service, including First Responders, the Choctawhatchee Style Marchers will provide patriotic entertainment.  The highlight of the evening will be when the Parachute Team sails through the sky carrying a 20' by 30' American flag and the Game Ball.  They will land mid-field just prior to kick-off.

Based on the magnificence of the show last year, you don't want to miss this great opportunity to thank those in uniform for the service they provide us each and every day.
