Musical Echoes 2017

Musical Echoes Flute Festival returns to the FWB Landing, 139 Brooks St., Fort Walton Beach, on Friday, April 21^st through Sunday, April 23^rd from 10am until 9pm. Join us as we celebrate the Native American culture, art, and music.  Admission is free!  This is a non-alcholic event for the entire family.

Experience the unique sounds of the Native American flute as it comes alive by talented musicians. The festival features solo performers and full piece bands with live music from the stage during the entire festival.  Dancers offer colorful, rhythmic traditional dances and they share the meaning of each dance offering us a rare experience.  Flute makers selling their handcrafted flutes help you find one that is right for you while offering tips and guidance on how to play.  Visit art and craft vendors as they share their custom jewelry, baskets, leather work, and more.  Traditional Indian fry bread and other delicious festival food add to the fun.  Visit the silent auction and raffles at the main tent and purchase the annual festival t-shirt featuring a beautiful painted horse created by artist Kenneth Maines. 

Internationally acclaimed Native American musicians and dancers are part of the festival line up including Ed Wind Dancer and award winning hoop dancer Lowery Begay.  We welcome back Mark Holland with his full band, Autumn’s Child and the popular Gareth.   Injunuity makes their debut at the festival performing both Friday and Saturday evenings with their full band.
