The Doolittle Institute invites entrepreneurs, small businesses, and area companies to join the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in our vibrant space to work on projects, collaborate, and network.
This month’s TH!NK Thursday will only be a half-day in the afternoon. 3:00 – 5:00 P.M.: AFSOC + Alison Group Innovation Initiatives, Defense Entrepreneurs Forum (DEF)
The Alison Group is the innovation group that supports AFSOC at Hurlburt Field and will give a briefing on their latest news and initiatives. The group serves as the initial point of contact for innovation and engagement between AFSOC and Industry, Academia and DoD agencies and inspires innovation through empowerment at all levels. In addition to all local business owners, members of the 96th Test and 33rd Fighter Wings on Eglin AFB, AFRL, and AFLCMC are invited to this Emerald Coast Agora launch of the DEF. The DEF will also provide a recap of their Denver 2018 meeting, including successes and lessons learned. 4:00 – 5:00 P.M.: Happy Hour at Props Brewing
Through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement with the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW), the Doolittle Institute helps organizations, innovators, and entrepreneurs benefit from expansive basic and applied Department of Defense research. The Doolittle Institute acts a neutral facilitator and trusted counselor, connecting a national network of individuals, businesses, educators and government organizations to enable creative and integrated solutions. The Doolittle Institute is a member of the Defensewerx Family. Registration is required for this event for both government and non-government employees. Please register by Oct 15.
