The Odd Couple (female version)

Playwright, Neil Simon, crafted the Female Version by taking the original classic male leads, Oscar and Felix, and transforming them into the equally cracked and comical, Olive and Florence. Olive, a messy sportswriter, and Florence, a neurotic neat freak, are forced to room together resulting in comic chaos as they struggle to adapt to life in the same apartment. Along with the two main characters, there are four eccentric female friends who keep the gags rolling with their weekly game of Trivial Pursuit. And to round out this comical cast, there's the unforgettable Costanzuela brothers who are pulled into the wacky world of Olive & Florence for a memorable dinner date!
Auditions will take place at the Stage Crafters Rehearsal Warehouse located at 40 Robinwood Drive SW, Fort Walton Beach. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and scene scripts will be available at that time.
Auditions will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Helpful Information:
1. You do not need to prepare a monologue or memorize anything in advance. You will be asked to read from the script for auditions. 2. Stage Crafters Community Theatre strives to cast new faces and talent whenever possible, and we highly encourage anyone who is interested to audition. You do not need to be a member of Stage Crafters to participate either onstage or backstage. 3. Please be aware that if you are cast you are obligating yourself to a considerable rehearsal and performance process. 4. Being invited to audition does not guarantee you a role.
