The Annual Oil Painters of America Paint Out in FL willb eheld Saturday, October 13, 9 am to 12:30 pm at rayton Beach State Park in Grayton Beach, FL. Every one is invited to bring their art materials and enjoy a morning of painting pristine beaches, dunes, laks, the gulf coast, and wildlife. Close to the park is the town of Grayton Beach, wehre you can paint the quaint, colorful old beach cottages.
Meet at 9:00 am at the State Park entrance, 357 Main Park Road, and sign in. There is a $4 fee per car for park entrance Afterwards, we will meet at 12:30 for lunch and painting critique at Nick's On the Beach, 2210 West County Road 30A, Blue Mountain Beach, FL, a short 5 minutes away.
Please also bring sunscreen, water, insect repellant, and a hat.
Oil Painters of America (OPA) is a not-for-profit oganization representing more than 4,000 artists throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Its primary focus is to draw attention to the lasting value of fine drawing, color, composition, and the appreciation of light.
