Okaloosa County 4-H Farm Safety Day Camp

Okaloosa County 4-H presents a full day of fun for youth at the Farm Safety Day Camp on Saturday, September 10, 2016.  Ages 8 to 18 are encouraged to attend the Camp from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the Baker Arena. Children under the age of 8 may attend if accompanied by a parent. There is a fee of $5 per child which includes lunch, a tee shirt, classes and a goody bag.

The Baker Arena is located at 5503 Highway 4, Baker, Florida, and participation is limited to the first 100 applicants.  Activities include archery safety, ATV safety, Bug and plant identification, Ranger Snake identification and more. A car seat installation check is available for parents from 9 until 11 a.m. Registration deadline is September 1, 2016, before 5:00 p.m. For more information, call Okaloosa County Extension Office, 850-689-5850.
