Okaloosa Public Works Informational Meeting to Discuss Lake Lorraine Storm Water Project

A meeting is scheduled for August 20, 2014, at the Shalimar Pointe Clubhouse, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., to discuss the storm water project planned for the Lake Lorraine area. Residents in the Lake Lorraine neighborhood, especially those living between Lake Lorraine Circle north, to the outlet pond are encouraged to attend. 

Public Works Director John Hofstad and Road Division Manager Clay Simmons will provide vital information to residents about what to expect during construction phases. They will be provide in depth information, answer questions and discuss the impact on residents during construction phases. Construction will be performed by Okaloosa County Public Works and will cost approximately $220,000.
