    Event Description:

    A public workshop to review and comment on an amendment to the Cost Feasible Plan portion of the Long Range Transportation will be held on April 1, 2014, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. at the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce at 34 Miracle Strip Pkwy Se, Fort Walton Beach 32548.

    The proposed Long Range Transportation Plan Amendment will:

    • add funds for a Project Development and Environment study for bay system bridge improvement needs in the Fort Walton Beach area,
    • add Right of Way and Construction funds to widen US 98 from 4 to 6 lanes from Airport Road to CR 30A West,
    • add Design, Right of Way, and Construction funds to widen US 331 from I-10 (SR 8) to the Alabama state line,
    • add Right of Way and Construction funds to widen PJ Adams Parkway/Antioch Road from SR 85 (Ferdon Boulevard) to Ashley Drive, and
    • add Right of Way funds to widen PJ Adams Parkway/Antioch Road from Ashley Drive to I-10 (SR 8).
