    Fresh Start for Children and Families is pleased to announce the official Ribbon Cutting for our new Fresh Start Family Impact Center on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 4:00pm. Impact 100 of Northwest Florida is a local philanthropy that awarded Fresh Start a grant for the Family Impact Center. The grant funded a multipurpose building, ADA- compliant playground, recreational play area, garden plots, fencing, lighting, and utilities. Our Board of Directors, Impact 100 Members, Fresh Start families and the FWB community are invited to attend our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, and 4pm-6pm Open House.
    FRESH Start is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the area’s homeless population since 1986.  The primary focus is helping families achieve long-term self-sufficiency through a nine-month residential and educational program.   The organization is funded in part by area churches, local donors and through the Repeat Street Thrift Store located at 10 Walter Martin Road in Fort Walton Beach.
