Okaloosa County and the Town of Cinco Bayou Celebrate the Completion of Upgrades to Cinco Bayou Boat Ramp

Okaloosa County, Florida – Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners is proud to join the Town of Cinco Bayou in celebrating the completion of recent upgrades to the Cinco Bayou Boat Ramp. The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10 a.m., at 264 Seaway, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.

“As a recreational water enthusiast and lifetime resident of the Cinco Bayou area, I am excited to see these improvements to a widely used boat ramp,” said Okaloosa Board Chairman Trey Goodwin. “We have been working recently to enhance all of the County parks to bring a first-class experience for those who live here and for our visitors.”

The improvements include 16 new boat trailer parking spaces, a new bathroom, improved access to the boat ramp, and landscaping, with future dock improvements planned. The new bathroom and parking spaces are now open for public use.
