Sacred Heart Seminar: Healthy You Nutrition Class

Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast is holding a free, community nutrition class on Thursday, Mar. 29 from 12:00-1:15 p.m. called “Healthy You: Go Further With Food.”

During National Nutrition Month®, celebrated each March, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics encourages everyone to "Go Further with Food" by preparing meals in advance to enjoy throughout the week. Join Registered Dietitian Julee Christie to explore great ways to eat healthfully, save time during the week with meal prep and reduce food waste.

Christie will provide recipes, educational resources, food samples and discuss how to create a healthy meal prep plan that includes a variety of your favorite foods. The goal of this nutrition class is to provide attendees with valuable information on how certain foods and lifestyle changes can significantly improve your health and provide easy-to-follow nutrition advice to meet lifestyle, and health-related needs. Participants are invited to bring along their lunch to enjoy with the food samples provided.

Class size is limited to 30 participants.
