Community members are invited to participate in a free health seminar opportunity titled “Skin Cancer:Early Detection Tips and Non-Surgical Treatments” on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., hosted by Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.
Dr. Michael Stickler, board-certified dermatologist with Dermatology Specialists of Florida, will present on early detection for skin cancer, importance of skin protection and share the newest advances in non-surgical treatment options. After the seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to have an exposed skin cancer screening for areas such as the face, scalp, arms, and exposed leg areas. Dr. Stickler and physician assistant Heather Preisser will take time to look over those areas of concern and discuss specific questions.
