Don't miss a moment of fun during Spring Break! With something new and exciting every day, your family can have a blast when you spring into the Science Center! March 15 - Snake Day with Reno's Reptiles The folks at Reno's Reptiles are bringing a wide variety of animals including Pythons, Anacondas, Iguanas, Skink, Scorpion, and a 50lb Tortoise! All can be held and touched (minus the scorpion), so come discover these awesome animals. March 18 & 19 We will be open Monday and Tuesday of Spring Break! We will have Chem Demos occurring at 11:30 a.m. both days, and be sure to join us for an up-close encounter with some of our animals during our 2:00 p.m. Creature Feature those days as well. March 20 - 22 - Makerspace Workshops from 12 - 2 p.m. followed by SMALLab fun and games from 2 - 3 p.m. March 20: Polymers Workshop- we'll make Slime (every kid's favorite!), bouncing balls, and shrinking polymers in this special workshop. March 21: Earth & Space Workshop- we have brand new kits from the NISE Network all about Earth & Space, so get ready to explore the galaxy with hands-on activities. March 22: Wild About Animals- learn all about the animals in our center. Get up close and personal with sugar gliders, hedgehogs, snakes, and more! March 23 - Discover Science Saturday Theme: Science of art! Leave your mark on the Science Center by painting a ceiling tile with the theme "Science is..." and show us what science means to you! Whether it's astronomy, Earth, physics, chemistry, the sky is the limit. 1 tile per child / limit 4 per family.
